Terms of Service

Welcome to NoteAy. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the NoteAy mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using NoteAy, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using NoteAy. By using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to create and use your account.

2. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

You agree to:

  • ✔ Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • ✔ Keep your password secure.
  • ✔ Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • ✔ Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

3. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers using NoteAy agree to:

  • ✔ Upload only educational materials they own or have permission to distribute.
  • ✔ Provide accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, and categories.
  • ✔ Review payment receipts fairly and promptly.
  • ✔ Maintain accurate payment account information.
  • ✔ Respect students and communicate professionally.

4. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • ✔ Use purchased materials only for personal educational purposes.
  • ✔ Submit valid payment receipts.
  • ✔ Not upload false or manipulated payment confirmations.
  • ✔ Respect teachers and other users.

5. Purchases and Payments

Payments are made directly to the teacher using the payment methods they provide.

After making a payment, students must upload a payment receipt for verification. Access to purchased content is granted only after the teacher approves the payment.

NoteAy is not responsible for payment delays caused by banks, mobile payment providers, or incorrect payment information entered by users.

6. Educational Content

Teachers retain ownership of the educational materials they upload unless otherwise stated.

Students receive a limited, non-transferable license to access purchased materials for personal educational use only.

7. Intellectual Property

All uploaded educational materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

You may not:

  • ✔ Copy purchased materials.
  • ✔ Share purchased materials with others.
  • ✔ Resell downloaded notes.
  • ✔Publish purchased content online.
  • ✔ Remove or modify watermarks.
  • ✔ Attempt to bypass NoteAy's content protection systems.

8. Content Protection

NoteAy uses security measures such as secure in-app viewing, private storage, personalized watermarks, and access controls to help protect educational content.

Any attempt to bypass these protections may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • ✔Upload copyrighted material without authorization.
  • ✔ Use the platform for illegal activities.
  • ✔ Harass or abuse other users.
  • ✔ Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the application.
  • ✔ Upload malware or harmful files.
  • ✔ Create fake payment receipts.
  • ✔ Impersonate another person or organization.
  • ✔ Manipulate ratings, purchases, or platform statistics.

10. Account Suspension

NoteAy reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

11. Refunds

Refund requests are subject to the applicable teacher policies and NoteAy platform guidelines. Teachers are responsible for reviewing payment disputes related to their own educational materials.

12. Availability of Service

We strive to keep NoteAy available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoteAy and its owners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform, including loss of data, revenue, or educational materials.

14. Privacy

Your use of NoteAy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal information is collected, stored, and used.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where NoteAy operates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
